Went to Dallas (OR) today to celebrate my sisters 74th birthday. I have two sisters both are older than I, in fact they are over 15 years older. Was nice to visit with them and one of my nieces and nephews.
Went to Safeway after the party to get some vegges for a salad. Still going through price shock. Was going to get some limes but they wanted 50 cents each. We were paying 5 cents in Mexico. Tomatoes are $1.99 a pound, along with green peppers and cumbers. I keep telling my self that I want to keep eating the good food and while here I will have to pay the prices for it.
We have more sun today almost feels like spring is here. I know that the calender says spring is here but I won't feel that way until the weather is warmer and more flowers are blooming.
Another price shock for us is gas. The lowest I saw today was $2.88 highest was $2.91 for regular. Won't be doing much driving.
