Today is the day to take the tape off of Larry’s back. We decided it would be easier to take off after his shower. The small incision had bleed and looked like it was opening. So we walked to the laboratory where they do blood work as we thought we could see a doctor there. The lady behind the desk was very helpful. She typed the name of the doctor we could go to see and told us how to get there, the only English word she said was street. But we understood what she was trying to tell us.

When we got to his office there was a lady setting in the lobby. There was no desk with someone to ask if we could see the doctor. What we had to do was just sit and wait for him to come out.
The doctor looked at the incisions and said they were ok. He put some gauze on the small one and said it was ok. He didn’t charge us for the visit. He did speak some English. Now we know where to go if we need to see a doctor.

The street that was tore up last month is still being worked on. They took all the cobble stone off and dug almost a foot dipper, removing a lot of sand. They have now put dirt and rock down. We still don’t know if they are going to put new cobble stone down or asphalt.

It is an election year and campaigning has started. We had an airplane flying very low with loud speakers that was playing something about one of the men running for office.
