Cought the launch to Panachel at 7:00am. Rode a chicken bus to the border, and what a ride. He , the driver had to prove he was the best driver and the fastest driver over the mountians. It did not matter that their was speed bumps, lets see how fast we can hit them whitout lousing anything or anyone on the bus, but did it really matter if you lost anyone? This was the first bus, the second bus, I think the driver really didn't know how to drive as we could smell the cluch and hear the throw out berring. I was praying all the time, on both busses.
Then whenwe got to the border to get back into Mexico, we were given the option of riding a Pedomad. Did we really have the option? Dumb Americans, cost us Q100, to get to the border from the bus station. Then the Pedomader driver said it was only Q50 to cross the bridge to the Mexican side, yes we rode the Pedomad, then he said it was Q50 for each, another Q100. Stupid Americans.
