Bottle rockets going off all night, along with the band that played after each hour. Not to mettion the bells, at 7:00 they became more frenquent, but then we were up getting ready to hit the road again.
Our frist bus ($256) leaving Oaxaca at 9:00 am to Puebla. We had thought about staying in Puebla but decided it was to early to stop. 2ed bus left Puebla at 2:10 (wish we had stayed here) for $96 to Mexico City (I don't want to go to Mexico City).
Was supeized at all the pine trees that are in the mountians. Mexico is not always dessert lit so many people think.
We were not at the right station in Mexico City so we had to go to the subway. Ride to Mexico City Observaorio $4.
Looked for a hotel but couldent find one so 3rd bus (first class primera) $270 to Patzcuaro at 6:30 pm. We arrived in Patzcuaro at 11:30 pm. With the help of another couple that arrived at the same time and the taxi cab driver we found a room by 12:30am for $300, more than we really want to pay but it's late and we can look for a cheaper one in the morning.
