I wish I had added to this blog last year. We went to San Blas in Dec. 2007. We found a small nice apt. for $180.00 a month.

We were able to live here for less than $1000.00 a month.

We did do some traveling to other places but not as much as we did last year.

In January of 2008 we went to PV to stay for a week in a condo. My Brother-in-law owned it and let us use it for $160.00 for the month. That is what he would have had to pay.

On our way to PV we stoped in to visit Andee in Chacala. We had a wonderful visit with her.

When we got back to San Blas I learned that she had died. It was quite a shock as she seemed to be so full of life and happy. I know that many people will miss her and I am so glad that we were able to see her.

We will be returning to San Blas in Nov. We will be staying at the same place we had last year.

We bought bicycles to use in San Blas as this is the best type of transportation there.

Mine was $45.00, Larrys was $100.00

While there last year we used the bus when we wanted to go out of town. We still were able to stay in our budget of $1000.00 a month.

I bought our air tickets in early June for our next trip. Less than $800.00 round trip from Portland OR to PV Mexico. Price is close to what we have been paying for the last two years.

Hope to do better this year with the blog as I am taking a laptop.
