January 10, 2009 Saturday sábado
Saturday Market day, I went around 9:30am. I bought some vegetables and a new plant.
While buying the vegetables I overheard a lady telling her husband that she wanted to get some cilantro. As I walked behind her to look at the tomatoes I told her that this vendor gives cilantro when you buy from them.

I saw the same couple a little while latter and told them that I had seen the small bananas, not the red ones, at the vendor just down the street. They asked me if I knew when the market closed as they needed to take their laundry to get done but wanted to buy more before the Saturday market closed.

I could only tell them that some of the vendors start closing around 12:00. They already knew that they needed to get their laundry to the laundry place right away. I did tell them where I take mine.

This couple is sailing down the coast. They are also from Oregon, the North Bend Coos Bay area. I hope I was able to help them with what they needed to know.

We went to the plaza to visit with our friends. I decided to go to the club and try their hamburgers. Larry followed me and had one too. They were good but the bun fell apart which made them kind of hard to eat. Good thing we didn’t get them to go, they would have been hard to eat on the plaza. Both burgers cost 120 pesos or less than 12.00us.
